Games missing significant amounts of content (ultimately costing the games potential to achieve 90%+ averages with gaming journalists) while then subsequently supporting the incomplete game with additional free updates for base-game like content for a fixed defined period of time. We arguably first saw this come to head with newer series like Splatoon / Mario Maker and now it's gone deeper in Nintendo sports titles as well like Mario Tennis Aces, Mario Golf Super Rush, Switch Sports and Mario Strikes Battle League among other titles. Separate to the mobile discussion (Nintendo's kind of stepped away from it recently), Nintendo is already engaging in one questionable development practice in my view in that we're seeing the prevalence of what I would consider to be "unfinished" games being released to market at full price.
